AUCTIONS
AFFMA celebrates with nearly 3000 people attending our 3-day Annual Film Festival. The festival hosts to a usual sold out crowd for premieres to an audience of 600 guests. Past honorees included screenwriter Mardik Martin (“RAGING BULL”), filmmaker Atom Egoyan (“CHLOE”), and actors Shohreh Aghdashloo (“HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG”) and Ken Davitian (“GET SMART”). AFFMA thanks the recipients of Gala auction items.

About Us
Arpa is the name of a river that flows through Armenia. As water provides a source of life and energy, so does art to the human soul. The first Arpa International Film Festival was produced by AFFMA in 1997 with a mission to cultivate cultural understanding and global empathy, creating a dynamic forum for international cinema with a special focus on the work of filmmakers who explore the issues of Diaspora, exile and multi-culturalism. A strong emphasis is placed on ideals of independent thought, artistic vision, cultural diversity and social understanding.
